Paws To Play offers overnight and extended stay boarding services. Board and Training services are also available.

 

We have a variety of rooms for dogs that need some privacy to relax and sleep. Our indoor boarding facilities are 100% air conditioned / heated year round.

 

Dogs coming in for boarding need to be introduced to our pet professionals, as well as being introduced to his or her new dog friends. Therefore, it is best if you check your dog into Paws To Play in the morning. Your dog will then have a chance to acclimate, make friends, get some supervised play time and exercise, potty, and have dinner before being put to bed for the evening. We want your dog to be relaxed and satisfied after a long day of play and exercise.

 

Even better, your dog should be enrolled in our fun, cage-free doggie daycare program, at least twice, in the previous 7 days prior to overnight boarding. The more socialization and exercise your dog receives the week before you board your dog, the more relaxing it will be for your dog when you leave town. We also recommend that you arrange grooming and training for your dog, since we do that, too!

 

If you are not sure how your dog will do, being left alone for the first time, or if you have a dog that has issues, such as separation anxiety, when left alone, please call us in advance to arrange for an evaluation, and for a "test stay", at our facility. We would recommend a morning check in and evaluation. We will first see how your dog plays with the other dogs in the morning, then we can attempt to "board" your dog for a while in one of our boarding rooms during the afternoon. That way, we can observe how your dog will most likely fare once you leave town. If you have these kinds of concerns, the more advance time we have, the better we can help your dog. For dogs with serious separation anxiety, you need to start doing behavioral modification at least 2 months in advance of boarding (and that would be true whether you left the dog home alone, with us, or with someone else).

 

For most dogs, overnight boarding rates include a full day of doggie daycare.

Boarding is ALWAYS paid in advance. Lessons are ALWAYS paid in advance and are charged on a per lesson or package of lessons basis, not on time/ duration of the lessons. Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy.
